Trevortm - if they are paying you £17, I'd take it, you can bank the money and use the disc as a coaster.
this either means 1) your not very good at the game or...
2) your not very good at the game...
Trevortm - I was having a little joke which will become apparent once you go online with your nice shiny MSA disc. Let me know how quickly you become tired of getting kicked out of the game, losing connection or not finding a game to join. Please share with me your frustration at the glitched TA boards, lack of stats on last race times and erratic vehicle behaviour. If you pay for this game you were robbed, I did and I was.
Kabber - Thank you for your kind words.
To all - I had the misfortune of playing a few games last night and I cannot beleive the poor skill level of mid to high ranking players. Having not played for three months I was surprised to be beating level 60 players by 30 seconds! We all have bad races but come on! I assume they have ranked up on the weekly challenges (do they still happen?) and have no racing experience. Anyway I will not be bothering again. I could rely on many friends being on the game a few months ago but not anymore. As usual I lost connection with the server and stuggled to reconnect.
Thanks to all those people I raced with (kegs11, bq7. Pepsi-Generation, Babsodus, Cos, Jerony, ronin, Stoney, Angron and all the others I've missed and now insulted, sorry) when it worked it was fun. And to all those I raced on MSPR (+10000 races) that was always great fun despite the glitches and glitchers.

Heh, dont worry Ruddi, I know where your coming from. The thing is, as you may have seen by now, I will always defend the Motorstorm series in general, not just MSA.
For me though, a new job means I now have less time to devote to gaming in general, and with that job retail based and Xmas fast approaching, that time is being squeezed more-so.
Add to that what seems to be an extraordinarily amount of quality games being released this winter, and my racing career is taking something of a back seat at the moment. Motorstorm may be the huge double chocalate fudge cake but I want to sample some of the rest of the buffet.
As for Motorstorm is dead, never! There are plenty of people who will keep the series alive. Dawnrazors facebook group continues to be a valuable source of the lastest news, and even Cirrus and co. still improving times on the Island is keeping the MSA naysayers interested.
And me? I`ll probably be back in the new year sometime, having just acquired a US copy of the original Motorstorm I want to put some time in online having only had 56k dial-up internet back in the day. Add to that I (shamelessly) never hit gold legend in Rift, so wouldnt mind a crack at that too. Maybe even Apocalypse will be fixed by then. And lets just say theres a few of my favourite Greek stories that will keep me interested in the series for time to come ![]()
long live Motorstorm!

Kegs11 - Congratulations on the new job and Merry Christmas.
I know there is no bigger fan of Motorstorm so you keep defending it my friend. I have not played anything else in 3 years which is why I am so sad to give it up but all good things eventually come to an end. I think really MSPR was the last motorstorm game MSA is gimmicky and takes too long to get a race.
I'm selling both my games (MSA and MSPR), well I'll be virtually giving them away I cannot imagine they are worth very much. Might try trading in MSA but I don't know what for???

Well that explains why my £10 minimum bid on ebay failed to sell then.
It might not be the bargin you thought though. Good luck online, its still a pile of disconnects and failed to communicate with server. After a couple of days trying to come back to the game I now see why I tried to sell the disc. It really does suck. I would have thought with the drop off in players (there were not that many to start with) the servers would improve but no they are still broke and the game is still broke.
I think I will give Motorstorm RC a miss as Evolution Studios are responsible. They could not run a bath so there is little hope for the new game.
