This is the first time i've ventured onto the motorstorm section, so i've only just seen your review. Nice work.
I bought the game earlier today and was a liitle apprehensive about the top down view, but after playing it for a couple of races i was pleasantly surprised. Top down works really well. The tracks are fun and the cars handle really well too. ![]()

Kegs11's ghosts have caused me a lot of grief in the game. Recognized your screenname instantly.
Loving the game quite a bit. I have 180/192 and I feel I'm close to reaching my limit in the game. One of the most enjoyable download only titles I've ever played and I'm not even a fan of racing games in general.
Didn't read through the whole thread due to the conversion getting side-tracked quite early on, but has anyone managed to sync their MSRC trophies? Mine don't sync with the trophy servers for some reason.

The trophy syncing is a common problem for people at the moment. The motorstorm rc icon doesn't appear when comparing trophies with a friend either.
The problem was raised on the blog and Evo are aware of the problem and are investigating the cause and possible fix at the moment. We'll just have to sit tight and wait for the fix.

This game is awful casual nonsense. I am really disappointed. Played many times in MS and MSPR, but MS RC its just a spit on old motorstormers.

But it's only £5 spit, compared to the £40 spit Apocalypse was though
!
...I mean, yes, it's not a true Motorstorm game, but you can't really say you were expecting amazing damage, sprints to the finish, big rigs crushing bikes and everything did you?

I don't agree with MSRC being "casual nonsense". Sure it's a pick and play game, but getting all the medals in the game calls for dedication. It's not a big budget racing game and that seems to be what you were expecting. And most big series have spin-offs - MSRC is definitely not a spit on old fans of the series even though it's different from the main series. This game was never marketed as a similar product as the earlier entries in the series and it's been less than a year since Apocalypse so there's no way they could've made a new MS game with significant improvements in such a short time. This is just a bite size game for people to enjoy while waiting for the next big Motorstorm.

Tbh i didn't notice. Maybe they update at certain times throughout the day.
They don't update instantly. They tend to take a minute or 2, I think usually they update after the little helmet appears in the bottom right.
