I'm sorry you didn't play the game much and was put off by the offline elements - but you really mustn'y have been playing it that long so that you didn't notice any server issues! I've never found AI and rubberbanding too much of a problem in MSA - it gets harder - I deal with it - but maybe that's because I'm an old breed 'Stormer. Glad you still want to give RC a try
