With news that Evolution Studios has laid off half it's staff (Studio Liverpool have had the same happen) does this mean that we won't see a third Motorstorm game for the PS3 either for a very long time or not at all? I know that Pacific Rift had appalling online problems (one of the reasons i stopped playing it) but the single player game still rocks. So is Pacific Rift the last of the Motorstorm franchise?

Studio Liverpool lost half their staff when they merged with Evolution.  Evolution, as far as I know, still have all their staff.  I'm sure there will be more Motorstorm games, but I also remember a member of Evolution saying that they're not just making Motorstorm.  It's only been 14 months or so since Pacific Rift and only a few months since Arctic Edge.  I guess there will be another Motorstorm but perhaps not within two years of Pacific Rift.

I share your opinion of the game too.  Great single player, but suffers from exploits online.

I would like another MotorStorm, the first was ftw.
Second was good still, but I prefer the first.
Oh and Artic Edge was pretty good, I got it on PSP.

agreed. never liked pacific rift, much preferred the tracks, and desert settings of the first one. the tracks were cheesy old school kart racer style, in pacific rift, with lava and ice stages etc. they should keep it slightly more realistic as far as the tracks go. i would of been happier with just having more tracks and vehicles on the first game tbh
