I own the first two Motorstorms and they were ok although the physics were pretty random and the AI has always been annoying as hell, but I played the beta and demo of this one and pretty much hated it. So I didn't buy it. However, then I needed to get a new PS3 and the options were this or FIFA which I hate even more.

So here I am, trying to make the best of a bad situation, but I have had to reset my PS3 more times in the week or so I've had this game than I have pretty much for the rest of the year. And I platinumed Fallout 3 while PSN was down - that's not exactly a stable game.

And as I post this, the server has just collapsed. Again.

I think Evolution Studios need to find themselves a lead programmer that has some sort of idea about software architecture, because this game clearly has structural problems with little to no graceful error handling.

In fact, I just had to quit to XMB (again) because the game stuck me inside a lobby with no quit option, and that was doing nothing. I tried to file a grief report once in the XMB and the PS3 crashed. Solid engineering. Not.

And how is it that monster trucks are faster than super cars off the line?

If there's a monster truck behind you on the grid, it's pretty much a given that you're going to get flattened before you can even steer...

At least in this game it doesn't cost you half a bar of XP every time it happens.

I dont get why people moan about other people moaning all the time.Just because the game works for you dosen't mean it does for other people.The servers are still bad,its the same with every motorstorm,there just has to be something wrong with the game if its made by evo.

You will get flattend even with the hot rod perk because of course monster trucks have faster acceleration than supercars and superminis.I read on another forum that they should use a staggered starting grid,thought it was a great idea.
