quick question on digital edition.

i have just subscribed to psn+ and downloaded the full game of motorstorm apocalypse.

now ive noticed on the xmb the game and game saves say motorstorm apocalypse digital edition.

if i got it on blu-ray disc, does this mean i wont be able to use my game save from digital edition on the blu-ray edition?

Re: quick question on digital edition.

i know from previous experience that the disk version and digital copy of game saves are incompatible with each other ive even seen disk copys of the same game be incompatible ie standard and limited,

its a great racing game too except for the server problems the game save is copy protected too but you being a psn+ subscriber that shouldn't effect you, you never know it may be one of the exceptions and work for both versions, either way enjoy it, i did real sense of speed and some cool grafix. Have fun

Not the same game I know but take from this what you will....
The disc version of LBP2's save works with the digital version.
You won't know for sure though until someone tries with Apocalypse.

Re: quick question on digital edition.

so after what you say Jonesy

PS+ subcribers will get the games for free but only untill your subscribtion ends. then you have to pay to keep playing them. i thought that once you downloaded them. you would have them "forever" like with your regular purchases?

oh well keep us posted wether it works or not, will ya? :smileywink:

I hear what you say, I just don't listen...

Re: quick question on digital edition.

You have access to them as long as your subscription keeps active.

If you don't renew your subscription you can't access those games any more.

If after your subscription lapses you decide to renew it, you regain access to those games.

I don't mind that tbh.

All PS+ free games will expire if your sub runs out if you re-subscribe they become active again.

I downloaded a few games with the welcome back PS+ one month trial a year ago those games have now become active again.

Any game you buy with a PS+ discount is yours forever if your sub expires.

tbh, its expected int it. cant expect to get all these games for free and then still keep them once the sub has ran out otherwise you will be getting hundreds of pounds worth of games for £11.99 or £39.99 depending on the sub you choose.

great service imo.
