We seem to have a new generation of pacific rifters, who either dont know about the glitches, or are principled enough not to exploit. 

Sadly, there are still some persistent persons who seem intent on ruining a perfectly good track, just for the 30 seconds of fame. whoop - de- doo....

Solutions..? Un-official blacklisting, (deliberate wrecking of glitchers on the next race)?

 Or a torrent of voice/message abuse? (not recomended, but happens..)

Any thoughts/suggestions...?

Hi Chris, unfortunately there isn't a lot that can be done with glitchers, boost exploders, generally disruptive players etc other than the more decent amongst us sticking together and do what i do as host, and that's to tell them to behave ( i feel like a parent seeing over a flock of naughty children lol) and giving them another chance or kick them from the game ( which usually results in some really appallingly x-rated abusive via messages, or via mic).

If your in a race I'm hosting Chris and you have a legitimate grievance just message me and I'll deal with them

In online ranked, _not_ glitching on rift is simply not an option.  It sort of transcends principles, etc, because the fact of the matter is that you will DNF every race you don't glitch on.  That result is not representative of your skills, and certainly hammers your rank...

I'm against unsportsmanlike behaviour with boost explosion exploits etc, but most of these exploits are just lazy driving and aren't really any faster than a good driver's line with a sound boost strategy.

Rift, on the other hand...

It's a bummer, but you've pretty much got to concede that the _ranked_ rift track basically includes the glitch as a part of it.

Private rooms or NSC - no way!

Not glitching _is_ an option. I never did it. No need to put yourself on the same level as those poor characters even if you DNF.

The only positive things I can see in it are:
1) I might be addicted to this otherwise great game if it wouldn't have these cheats.
2) There aren't many that like to get wrecked although it is part of the game, so I race as clean as I can. But these guys lend themselves as targets.

That's pretty much what I would say on the issue. I never intentionally glitched (this excludes lag) or boost exploded to my advantage when I was on PR with a different profile. Still got to high rank gold legend, but probably only got to 100% once in a spree of non-easy-to-glitch tracks. I've never seen any jump explode bonus respawns or clear exploits on Apocalypse, but then I haven't been on it for a while and the servers couldn't connect to my PS3 when I tried a month or so ago.
