Need for Speed

Is it just me or has anyone else spotted this .?

Open Autolog , move to " news " section and the console crashes .

Happens everytime I go there . 

Doesn't help matters that ever since PS3 FW 3.55 the consoles crash at random spots .

Just strange Autolog news 100% the time also causing crashes .

Same here, when accessing the News page it seems. Also the bonus cash from levelling up doesn't seem to be being added to my total cash, and the input lag is terrible too. Is the digital release of the game the original unpatched code, or does it include them?

Not sure about the patches, hoping they are included in the digital release. Just got this from PS+ and when starting the game it doesn't download any patch.

Sadly the digital version is version 1.0 , for some reason the patch doesn't apply to us :[ . 

Why EA wouldn't let us DL the patch is beyond me .

No wonder it was offered w/o charge for PS+ subscribers, buggy unpatched mess of a release that it is. How this made it through Sonys supposedly stringent quality checks I don't know; my PS3 has failed to recognise the installed data once already (happened after a crash; rebooting the console seemed to resolve it), the game occasionally fails to load requiring a reboot, the Autolog News page crash (which happens every time you try to access the news page and is a three-beeper), and the cash bonuses for levelling up aren't being applied to my balance.

C'mon EA / Sony, pull your act together.

Not noticed any problem getting my bonus after levelling up yet , but then again i'm only level 8 as I got it from ps+ .

I too wonder how this got past the Sony QA and why if theres a patch , why don't we (as digital owners) get promted . Every other digital game I own ( 100 ) has promted to DL a patch , even the games originally released on bluray . 

What do we (as digital owners) need to do so EA give us the patch we deserve & desperately need .?

I turned off the news updates in autolog so nobody goes there thinking the can read the phatom " 24 updates " .

I'm afraid to press select

I got it under PS+ too; it's possible that the first bonus after opening the game and levelling up is applied, but then subsequent bonuses are missing; I got the 120k bonus at level 11 / 12 (can't remember which) - the next bonus was 140k, and wasn't added to my balance. I'm just testing this theory now.

Just got to the drift events; with the half-second input lag, they're pretty much impossible. They need to fully bug-test and patch this release ASAP, but given the age of the game I doubt it'll happen. EA's released what, 20 NFS titles since this came out?

The input lag is terrible, drift is impossible and the AI have less brains than my cheese sandwich.
