The more bases that are covered the better, but it takes time to build up a decent games collection on a system and as it stands theres several racing options already out. I don't doubt for a second we'll see yearly f1 games which will undoubtadly improve along with vita versions of many of the titles people have already mentioned. We'll probably also see a GT title but lets be honest they're not the quickest at bringing games to the market.
My main point however is are you not playing games like modnation racers and motorstorm rc because they look childish or do you really not like them? If it's the former i hope you reconsider as they're both pretty darn good (not played the vita version of modnation but have played the psp and ps3 original)

Hmmm... i'm with most of you guys on this one. it's pretty safe to say gt will make an appearance at some point- but that's my point. games nowadays take sooo long to finish and the wait normally leaves you with an anti-climatcal feeling once you actually get it. geez i can't remember how long it was i waited for gt on psp from the time it was announced but i do remember selling my psp as i simply forgot about it. developers need to announce games at a later date in my opinion, like 50% comp unless it needs heavy community feedback to help finish.
but talking about direction. i'm a little worried and i think you're right- i too am 29 looking for a mature experience. when you consider the price it cost us all to get our vitas up and running (console, mem card, games, acc's) it's alot- i know times have changed but i dont ever remember having that kind of money during the time i was 10yrs to say 18yrs. i don't think they know their consumer base age! they sould take a leaf out of nintendo's book, work out who we are, what we like and we've foolishly demonstrated to them money isn't an object and give us what we want...
anyways, gt in the future is a defo. i got dirt3 and that was awesome but in a different way obviously. untill forza4 i didn't think anything could top gt. i think a test drive wouldwork well on vita?
ps. i play alot of vs fighters, i don't play anything that doesn't require skill- wo2048... is definatly not a kiddies racer sir!

I'm 28 and indeed, I prefer sony, my kids have nintendo, but they also have a ps3 and each have a psp-go, and the nintendo stuff is left largely untouched... the go's are just perfect for them, no cartridges to screw with, they can both play the same game at the same time. And I'm american, on the eu forum, because the NA forum is full of 8-13 year olds, it's disgusting.
At any rate, if they came out with gt5 on the vita i'd buy it in a heart beat. Preferably a port of the ps3 version, not the psp version. iirc vita and ps3 have roughly the same power, the only concern might be space, so it might have to be cartridge only if they did, which sony is leaning away from, and rightfully so. I love hte psn/store, makes everything so easy.
In the mean time, I think i'm going to try the psp version of GT on the vita. Can anyone comment on the graphics of that?
