This is day one for me. I like the social aspects with it, and I wouldn't have raced much online with it anyway.

Asphalt Injection
Ubisoft
So you want an arcade racing game with online multiplayer? (Hmm, what made me say that?) Ubisoft have just the thing, in the form of Asphalt Injection, which is not a procedure used by builders (though it sounds like one) but a supercar racing game featuring 52 licensed vehicles from the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari and Bugatti.
Asphalt Injection seems to have borrowed from the likes of Burnout with refillable nitro, jumps, short-cuts and did I really see a Burnout 3-style takedown in there? Yes, it certainly looked like it. Well, you certainly couldn’t look for a better game to take inspiration from. All this action takes place on 20 tracks based in locations from around the world. Though the hyperbole of the press releases (magnificent next-gen graphics?) might be a little over the top, it certainly looks smooth and fast, and some bold lighting effects, along with a fondness for streaking neon lights, certainly add some flair to the visuals.
Featuring a single-player career with over 100 unique events using 10 different gameplay types, with twenty different leagues to conquer, it should keep you racing for many hours. Then there’s the aforementioned 8-player online or ad hoc multiplayer to keep you going on longer, complete with the requisite online leaderboards and a wealth of social features to keep you and your friends informed of each other’s progress and new lap times. You may be familiar with Gameloft’s previous entries in the series, mainly for mobile devices, but this one’s been built for the Vita and it’s coming in 12 days’ time!

Agreed.

This and Dungeon Hunter:Alliance are the games to keep away from. Overpriced iOS ports is all they are.
