Downloading older purchased psp games

Hi everyone I have just purchased a vita and I was wondering how I get get my back catalogue of psp games onto it? I go to purchase history and it says unable to download to psvita so I try ps3 it says unable to download to ps3 :-/ but when I look on the store they are available to download is there anyway of getting these or do I have to purchase again?
