I think it adds a six-day 'tour' event every week. Not overly sure about this, but it was reported of the Japanese game when the version was increased to 1.04.
Oooh, I've just seen the Japanese are moving to 1.08, with two new courses and two new characters.
I say new. One of the characters is Gloria (expert), one of the courses is Mount Sakura Hot Springs - both of which will be familiar to fans of the series. Still, it's all good. 
I wonder how much they will cost...
Other character is Erica (intermediate); other course is Mar [y] Cielo - Mexican course.
