Is Vita's Everybody's Golf worth the extra £20??

Right I loved Everybody's Golf on the PS2 back in the day. The other day I downloaded the demo of Vita version of Everybody's Golf and still loved it.

I have seen it for about £27 from Amazon. I can all so get Everybody's Golf (PSP) from the Vita store for a penny under 7 quid. The same for Everybody's Golf 2 (PSP).

Everybody's Golf on the Vita has better graphics, it has trophy support. There are some Vita control 'exclusives' such as lifting the golfer up and see them dangling in the air (can't quite see the point myself)... It has the fancy first person camera view which I can't see using on a regular basis.

So in summary is paying an extra £20 for the Vita version over one of the PSP originals worth it? Better graphics, trophy support and a few novel Vita-isms... :Help:

What are other peoples view on this? Am I missing any other pluses for the Vita version? All comments welcome:smileyhappy:

btw which is the better game. Everybody's Golf 1(PSP) or Everybody's Golf 2(PSP)... This is not me making my mind up already :smileywink:

I've not played the others but went for the vita version which is great by the way.

There is a dialy tournement to enter online unsure if you had that with previous versions.

DO NOT BUY EVERYBODY'S GOLF (1) PSP!

It's a great game, no doubt. Worth the money. But Everybody's Golf 2 contains every single piece of content that EG1 contains. So just buy the second one and enjoy all the content. :smileyhappy:

Your original question is a damned good one though. For the single-player game alone, the PSP version (EG2) contains more courses, more characters, more gameplay.

Once you've finished the single-player stuff, though, you'll probably want plenty of online content. The Vita game delivers daily tournaments and the online play is shaping up to be as full as the PS3 version - and will be better still when version 1.04 reaches Western shores.

'Course, you could start with EG2(PSP) and by the time you've given that a full workout the Vita version will probably be cheaper. :smileywink:

I've been waiting for this to drop in price. It's around £22-23 at the moment and I've set myself a sub £20 target!

Very good thinking :smileywink:

Thanks for all the replies :smileyhappy:

EG 2 (PSP) it is then but I will deffo be getting the Vita version when it goes below the 20 quid mark and I've had my fill of EG 2 (should be below £20 by then :smileywink:). The online extras (and trophies ) do sound worth the extra bit of cash.

Thanks again to everyone for the very helpfull comments/replies. Much appreciated

Re: Is Vita's Everybody's Golf worth the extra £20??

If you buy EB2 for 6.99 then pick up the Vita version for say 19.99 at some point in the future, I'd say you might as just buy the vita version now as its about £23 online and enjoy the extra features and just have the one EBG game, which is surely enough!?
