Pinball Arcade - annoying dialogue pop-ups

I am really happy that the game is finally available for PS Vita. The tables are absolutely fantastic and the version plays smooth and without any delay.

But... these dialogue pop-ups saying "Connect to network", "Data saved" etc etc etc are really annoying. It sometime happens that such a dialog pops up during a running game (yes, I lost several balls that way).

If those dialogues are system messages that cannot be controlled by the game program, then it's Sony's turn to solve that issue (e.g. by providing global or game-specific flags in system settings - if necessary).

Solve it with high priority, please. These dialogues bother me in other games, too.

Oh my god, I thought the three seconds of black screen on the PS3 were bad but having to acknowledge the autosave message after EVERY SINGLE GAME on Vita is just not on.

Other games manage to do autosaving without forcing you to acknowledge it, so it's not Sony's fault.

I haven't experienced any other problems with pop up messages - once I'm logged in (I've only played it at home so far). But the autosave thing is bad and made immeasurably worse that you can't click a button to get rid of the notification.

I really hope they patch this. It's such a good pinball game otherwise.

What region are you in? On the UK store it's scrolling across the top of the main menu page, it's in the PS Vita Games section, in its rightful alphabetical order, and it's the top item in the Latest section

Re: Pinball Arcade - annoying dialogue pop-ups

Incidentally, I just tried playing the game with 'aircraft' mode switched on and now I see what you mean. That really isn't acceptable. It seems hard to believe it passed QA - did the Store team put the right version on the store? :smileyfrustrated:

Re: Pinball Arcade - annoying dialogue pop-ups

I have been playing the trial version, but i play without connecting to PSN and dont get constant popups. The only limitation is a score limit on the trial version (105,000 on black hole, couple of million on the others), and i keep paying, switching tables, and i have yet had a network connection message...
