Your score needs to be greater than 1mil before the clock runs out. If your score creeps over the 1mil mark after the clock has run out (during the final flurry of explosions etc) then you don't get the trophy. Hope that helps.

On a different note why on earth does this game have trophys when the trophys don't have any affect on your PSN (gamer level/percentage). Is this a mistake that will be addressed or will the earned trophies never have an affect on our PSN gamer level (or whatever it's called)

Same problem here, trophys don't have any affect on my PSN.

They are just local trophies atm, they don't sync with psn trophy server.

It's far too easy to get extra lives now.

I think you'll find that it only looks easy. The lives always regenerated. It's just that now there is a timer to show us it looks quick

Update has resulted in many new bugs, didn't play the game at all yesterday and when i signed in today the game said i'd been away for 166 days and gave me over 40,000 crystals, 166 lives and double xp for the next 166 games, wierd.

Well this has happend to me twice now i have 840 Lives now and all 2xP here are some pics to show

the first time it happed i got 484 leves and gems

My total Lives are 840 and total Gems are 158671

I hope this game gets patched soon
