You can only set one set to 'actively seeking' by moving it to the center of the screen. You will then get more items of this set than the others, but that is all you can really do. The rest is just updating near regularly.

Thanks to the shares from this forum I have platinumed the game yesterday after farming the last two items. I have also already a couple of fetishes.

Now SONY just needs to fix the bug I have with Uncharted Trophies not making it to PSN (all other VITA games do) and I'd be happy.
