i am playing MGS 2 for th every first time, and during bit hwre a man helps you over radio i was duistracted and missed what he said about security cameras. everytime i go past one is trigger alarms.

what do i need to do or can you find a weapon to shoot them out, and wher do i find this weapon

try to just sneak by, use the radar to see its line of sight and cling to the wallk and side step. or try shooting it, but if you're snake then i think you just have the tranq gun which im unsure it would work.

yes i only have tranq gun.  i tried to sneak but always get caught. on one camera just underneath is a package to pick up and as soon as you go to get it it triggers alarm.

i thought the guy advised some sort of smke bomb but i dont have any.

can you go back over help from the radio man?

i think you can, tranq gun , the only grenage that disrupts the cameras is a chaff grenade as that effects anything electrical. i think i just sneaked past it by going against the wall, i dont remember anything under a camera.

it was the camera in the canteen area

ah ok would u be able to use the tables for cover, try using your codec to call otacon and see if he gives you the same advice

The only way to get that package, wich is USP ammo anyway- you will need to play on and defeat Olga, which you will then beable to loot her USP...
Back track and take out the two cameras you have past to go toward the trophy "destroy 15 cameras"
There are only 15 and you can only destroy them with live rounds/USP/SOCOM ect.

Thanks for all the help. that makes sense. i have dealt with Olga and now have some additional stuff so when i find my way back I will deal with them. I assume idea of game is to try and avoid confontation as much as possible?

to be honest not only have i never played it before I had neevr even seen it either, just heard the name. I find it good fun although sometimes the change of camera position is  alittle confusing
