Re: £229.99 or £279.99 PS Vita

whats the deal with amazon? Do you pay for the whole product when you pre order? Or does the money come out when it is dispatched like how Game do it?

Re: £229.99 or £279.99 PS Vita

hoping to get the 3g version as dont want to regret not having got it later on, one thing I would like to know is which memory card it takes as I will get a 16gb card from the start (got a 8gb in my psp3000 and that is full) going to work out pricey if it uses the M2.

Re: £229.99 or £279.99 PS Vita

Can anyone seriously offer any advantages 3G would provide?

It's going to be too unstable for online gaming.

Web browsing will be awful as Sony don't make good browsers.

PSN game downloads will be too large for 3G.

The only thing it'll be good for is small downloads like Minis and themes, and I can wait until I can hook up to a WiFi hotspot for those.

The console costs £50 more, plus you then need to fork out at least £10 per month on a 3G carrier.

It's simply not worth it.

I have a Gingerbread phone, so I can always tether over WiFi if I really need internet access.

Re: £229.99 or £279.99 PS Vita

I'll be getting the wifi only model. I dont think a 3G connection will be good enough for online gaming, so i can live with wifi. If they decide to include internal storage on the 3G model then i may change my mind.

I'm going to be getting rid of my XBOX 360 for this because after Gears of War 3, there's nothing that will interest me

they take the money at dispatch.

They will send you it at the lowest price it goes down to between when ordered and dispatched.

So now it is 229 pounds, and say in october it goes down to 199 you will get it for 199.

I just pre-ordered. :smileyhappy:

Re: £229.99 or £279.99 PS Vita

I just read some prices from this link. http://www.stageselect.com/N5123-e3-2011-sony-announces-ps-vita-price-249-and-over-.aspx

Tell me this is a joke.

Price in the U.S: 250 dollars

Price in Europe: 299€

299 euros = 432.952 dollars

What the hell seriously!? We pay nearly double!

If they can bring it down to £200/210, it'd sell alot better.
