PS Vita: General Discussion

Hello,

Recently, I purchased a PS Vita (in April) and ever since I got it, I've noticed that whenever a small amount of pressure is put on the top left hand corner of the system (wether it's pushing down the L Trigger or squesing the corner) it makes a small creaking noise. Due to who I am, this actually annoys me a lot, but I wanted to know if anyone else has this and if it's worth sending it for a repair?

Mine does the same, it's actually a common problem.

If you want to sort it out there's a screw located at the back which you can unloosen a bit.

last time I tried messing with the back of a game console, I ended up threading the screw lol
(luckily it was about 4 years old lol)

Ah, well maybe that's not the best idea then. It's worth a try trying to get a replacement from where you bought it from, not sure it'll work but worth the try I suppose.

It's very easy to loosen the screw at the back. only needs a slight adjustment to stop the creaking

While we are on the topic, does anyone know if you can Exchange the WiFi Vita in for a 3G one if your willing to pay a bit more, just curious about it

i also have that problem...i unscrew the two screws on the left then press the case while screwing in again...and tadan...no more creaking sound
