It deactivates ALL the devices tied to your account and you can do it only once per 6 months.

My screen seems to be OK. It has those black smudges (and one huge line) that can be seen on a black screen when playing in dark, but I guess that pretty much every console out there...unless you're really, really lucky.

I still can't exchange mine as they haven't had another delivery.  Mine is worse than most other peoples I've seen.

Where did you get it from anyway?? Can you show us a picture of the fault? I;m sure Sony coudl have exchanged it directly by now!

I only have an iPhone 4S and I can't take a picture (it has what looks like a shoe lace loop all across the top which is visible on almost all backgrounds). I bought it from Asda as it was only £197 in there. If you read my earlier post I have now lost the receipt too. Disaster.

I sold it for full price last night and ordered one from Amazon which is coming today. Touch wood this one is far better.

It's not defective per say, it has bad 'Mura' which I find distracting. I showed and explained the lines to my work mate and he doesn't mind. So yes he bought it for the price I paid and has warranty should he experience any problems

And the iPhone 4S has a great camera! I used it to take the picture of mine!

Woo so I just opened my replacement and the screen is far better. Few spots and a thin line but they are far more difficult to see and will in no way distract me. Excellent news.
