PS Vita: General Discussion

Hi.

I recently bought a Vita and i'm enjoying it-particularly Uncharted-but I have a few questions:

• Skype - Has their been any confirmation of this being released for the Vita yet? If so, when?
• Phone functionality - I'll be honest I still use  a Nokia 7250 from 2003, so all this 3G confuses me. Can the Vita be used as a phone in anyway? I tried sending a text from my phone to my Vita's sim card and it worked, just I couldn't reply to it.
• Crossplay - I read online somewhere which suggested you can play PS3 games on the Vita by 'Cross Play' - does this mean blu-ray discs which are in the console?

Skype , not sure but I can't see why not it won't come to the vita
Phone , simple really Sony have their own brand of mobile phones would be silly to make a fully fledged gaming/phone
Cross play, Wipeout 2048 works and I believe Hustle Kings too

1. It has been mentioned that a skype app will come to the vita soon

2. 3g is just for internet connection, however unlike a wifi connection you can get an internet connection basically anywhere with 3g

3. I assume you're referring to "Remote play" wich allows you to play ps3 games from your ps3 on your vita, not sure how it really works though...
