PS Vita: General Discussion

so ive been reading how ppl want to play ps3 games on the ps vita. all ive been rearing is on how ppl wan a button addon to sufice for the missing L2 and R2. so then after randok thoughts go through ky head i thought of the solution to that, and that was to use the bafk seneor pad. by splitting it into two sides(not literally lol) and have the left half be L2 and of course the right half beiing its counter part R2.

well tell me what you think and i hope this is an original idea and hasnt been said before. if so atleast tell Me and link to other forum so i can see and congraduate haha

if you think this is a good idea please  tell a developer and hopefully we will see ps3 games come to our beloved playstation  vita

why would I want to play Ps3 games on a Vita? I have a Ps3 for that.

I want Vita games on the Vita which are different to Ps3 games.

Well what about what they were advertising about taking your game on the go? This would only expand the number of games that could be taken to go when your no home. Also what about the people that dont have ps3's?

Maybe it wouldnt be very conveinient for you but its not just for u it would be for everyone. Also ive read about people asking for a button assesory for the using L2 and R2 and i was just propsing a solution to to something that i read.

But you have to admit it is  good idea

No it's not a good idea because every Tom, Richard and Harry has said this a hundred times over before you, and not many people like the idea.

Umm... I hate to rain on the parade here, but if you look in the remote play options Sony have already done this and taken it a step further.

The rear pads top left and right are allocated to L2 and R2 and the bottom sides are set to L3 and R3.

Finally, I'd rather see new games than watered down ports, so no thanks.

before i reply to that i would like to apologize for my bad typing im on my ps vita and im not quite use to typing on it yet haha

now back to the topic. ok well im kind of dissapointed its not an original idea. but one thing i dont understand from what you said is why don't  people like this idea? there isnt really a downside to it. if you think there is a downside please tell me your opinion. im very open minded and like to hear ither peoples opinions.

You'll have to ask them, not me, but they'll all give you the same answer. They want PS Vita games, not PS3 games that they already have, because we already have cross-play.

Well i would like to play ps3 games without haveing to be home to play them thats also why i started this topic

Isn't cross-play only available on a couple of games though?
