I think so, but it will be a future thing as it comes. It doesn't personally attract me.

crossplay will only work on a few titles yes.

The down side is I bought my Vita for VITA games not PS3 games. I have a PS3 to play PS3 games now I have a VITA for VITA games.

I want a different gaming experience from the Vita with touch screen and rear touch it does stuff the PS3 can't.

Use these new fetures to make the VITA unique and a stand alone console not a support console like you want.

I think there are plans for alot more games with cross-play .

I'm only speculating because i recieved a survey yesterday asking about what i thought about all the cross feature which there are 4 in all but can only remember about cross-saves.

I got my vita for vita games but it would be nice if i could still play some of the games i have on my ps3 mainly some off the psn games.

I got the same thing.

I don't mind games that cross or interact with each other as long as they have their own unigue abillies,stories ect for the respected platfrorm.

It's when it is the same game that does not use the strengh of each platform that I don't want to see.

But I guess It just comes down to peronal opinion lol
