Does anyone know if Sony intend to bring the BBC iPlayer to the vita?

As far as I'm aware they've not made any announcements regarding it.

If you have a PS3 its possible to watch iplayer through remote play and the ps3 web browser, probably not what you are after but works for me until something better comes along

Could really do with any tv catch-up app. or any app for that matter.
remote playable ps3 games? skype? netflix?

All promised. no news. typical Sony.

it's not that I 'aint' happy with the vita.
It's an excellent piece of hardware, I'm just not happy with no skype, ps3 remote play games, uk netflix or any information regarding the reason why we haven't got them yet.
If we have to wait another month or so, then fair enough. I just want to know why.

none of them were promised everyone just assumes we will get them or should already have them

if it was as easy as most people seem to think we would have every single app on the vita already but its not

when all these become possible sony will make the announcements until then have a little patience . its only 6-7 weeks old

And you're beginning to sound like a broken record by posting the same old complaints and moans in every other thread. Remote play has never been promised or confirmed by Sony. Netflix and Skype do not belong to Sony so they aren't going to be able to do anything about or give you any updated information.
