That's up to the publisher. Most publishers would rather make you pay twice, once for each version.
Any games out there that does this?

I really hope that the publishers of the new Sly Copper game that is coming out for the Vita and the PS3 do some sort of deal like buy one get 50% off the other (if bought at the same time for example).
I would love to own both versions. The Missus loves to watch Sly's antics when I'm playing it (the trilogy) on the main big screen in the house but there will be times that I want to play it on the Vita also.
There is no way I'm paying full price for both copies and I'm sure there are a lot of people who are thinking the same. I'm not sure if I would buy it for Vita or PS3 if this will be the case.
Lets hope the powers that be see the opportunity to sell both copies to their customers. I don't expect to get the buy one get one free type offer as this is a full retail price game but some sort of discount would entice me to buy both versions. No discount and I'll buy just one copy.

Yeah, it's up to the publishers. Maybe more will do promotional offers. So far it's just been Sony, 'cos they're interested in shifting the hardware too.
FWIW, I've had a lot of entertainment from Hustle Kings and MotorStorm RC. ![]()
DLC packs for WipeOut 2048, that give you WipeOut HD and Fury on Vita, will also give you the PS3 WipeOut HD game.
DLC for Marvel vc Capcom, I think, works across both systems, as will LBP2 costumes (with LBP Vita).
Forthcoming Sound Shapes is buy one get the other free, I think, as is Zen Pinball 2 and next week's The Pinball Arcade. Apparently.
And PSOne classics will be buy once, though I've never been a fan of playing those old games on a big HD screen. Portable PSOne wins every time.

Ooh that's good news about Pinball Arcade
I've been waiting for that game for AGES now ![]()
I've been chatting to a couple of Yanks via the Vita group messaging (there's a few of us chat regularly and it started with me sending a group message/15 people about sharing on TOM Blitz and it's now turned into a really nice social thread that we all use to chat about games and loads of different stuff), anyway I digress.
One of the Yanks has been saying how good the Pinball Arcade game is and the extra DLC thing works a bit like the extra tracks on Motorstorm RC but with tables instead of tracks (obviously
) He hasn't mentioned BOGOF though but they didn't get BOGOF for Motorstorm. They got it free
for the Vita but not for the PS3.
I suppose all regions do things differently though. Lets hope it's a BOGOF for Pinball Arcade. That'll be the icing on that little games cake ![]()
I can see the Vita lending itself really well to a pinball game BUT I can all so see myself trying to tip the Vita to adjust the balls trajectory though. A bit like the tilt a blob levels in Mutant Blobs Attack
Lol

I might be wrong about Pinball Arcade. Maybe it is as you say, buy the DLC table once and use it on either system. I'm pretty sure Zen Pinball 2 is BOGOF though... It's also supposed to be free to people who own Zen Pinball or Marvel Pinball, but whether that means also getting the Vita version free remains to be seen. Promises to be dandy though. ![]()
