I find this baffling as well. People seem to think they are entitled to the Vita version at a lower price because the home console version is cheaper. They seem to forget the home console version has been out for a while and has dropped in price. The Vita version is a newer release for a much newer console.

I remember this when Vita first came out and people thought they were entitled to free downloads of PSP games they already owned on UMD.. Then attack 'Sony' of all companies, because it wasn't the case...

I don't recall being able to get free e-books because I own the hard copies, blurays because I own the DVDs, or even CDs because I own the tapes...

I expect that other budget games like Motorstorm RC will be one fee for both formats, and we will see more deals like the free Wipeout HD DLC if you own the PS3 version... but it's not really that fair to the developers the expectation that MGS Collection should be a free download if you own the PS3 downloaded version..

as with blueray disks now you get a dvd and a digital version with it  plus the actual bluray so maybe games should be the same way

You do, but you pay extra for the packs that contain a combination of 3D disc, DVD, Digital Download... The price is never as cheap as the standalone bluray disc... so even if games do come this way, you'll still be paying extra..

i dont expect sony to do the bogof offer for the AAA titles like assassins creed and call of duty, but i think they should do it for games like snapshot and the new pinball game
