If your are like me and can't get a signal through the Vodaphone but got full signal on your I-Phone try this.

Go to settings

Then Personnel Hotspot

Switch on the Personal Hotspot. (If your wifi is switched off you will get this screen Tap "Turn on Wi-FI and BlueTooth) You can switch off the bluetooth to save battery later.

Enter a Wi-Fi Password better than mine preferably and press done.

That's it just one small note it to make sure your phone's name has not got any spaces or Symbols

I have called mine IPhone2 in this guide.

On to the PS-Vita

Go to settings

Then Network

Wi-Fi Settings

Select your phone from the list

Enter your better password than mine

That should be it the VITA is now connected to your phone.

I opened the PS store using this it was a bit slow but it worked.

I have tried wipeout but it timed out first time when trying to connect to PSN but I tried again and it worked and I had a good race and experienced no lag.

I would use this occasionally but not all the time as I still got to see the mr bill when he comes through the post.

I do exactly the same with my iPhone and MacBook, never had any charges...just data from my phone tariff is used.

Viewing the store, sending messages etc is all fine but unless you have a proper unlimited plan then I wouldn't start downloading anything.

Yeah you can do the same Wi-Fi tethering using the Samsung Galaxy 2/3 and most android phones I believe,
