Do Full Game downloads on the JP Store work on a EU Account?

Hey guys, i just found out the PS Vita was Region Free, so i wanted to get some JP PSN Money to buy a JP PS Vita game called @field, problem is, i don't know if the download will accept, i had an error on my Xbox trying to play a Free-to-play JP version of Monster Hunter Frontier and now thats put me of downloading other games from different Regions, does downloading Full Jp Games work on a EU Account?

no, full games are locked to the account which purchases it, only way to play jp games on a eu account is to import.

oh you can with the same jp account, thought you meant on your playing a jp tittle bought through a jp account on a eu account on a vita.
As long as its the same account (the JP account) its bought with should work on the vita.

However as you can only have one account on the Vita at a time, its only practical if the JP account is going to be your main one and also means not buying any EU retail games if there is any chance you need the online or DLC, as they ARE region locked.

So its rather limiting.

though, of course, all this is just theoretical :smileytongue: Its against the T&C's to have an account for a region you dont live in.

theoretically its probably easy to buy an imported game to play on a eu account rather than keep switching accounts and paying for yen psn cards.

You have to keep in mind though that if there is DLC or online passes they still won't work on a different region account.

ps vita is region free, so it should work if the game is from japan or america. unfortunately in the uk i heard that it is illegal to import such games so thats bad news for people like me, but many people (particularly people from asia (especially pakistanis)) import stuff like that here anyway and get away with it. the downside to the games imported is that you cant get any dlc or play online.

Games are region free

Vita's are account locked unless you deactivate and reset your Vita loosing all that was on it.

Accounts are not region free

Any redeem codes like networkpass DLC ect are not region free.
