I know this is present in any online game, but come on!

If your wandering what i am on about, its with sore losers.

Playing FIFA, and losing isnt fun, i know. but, if i am losing, and even getting my backside wupped 7-1 in one instance, i stick it out, and if i deservedly got beat, i will message the person and congratulate them on their excellent match.

However, the number of people who dont even have the courtesy (or nerve) to even finish the match is unreal! Examples include a close match, and i was winning 4-3 in the 90th minute. so, before the match ends, the guy (or girl) leaves the game! Another - 6-0 up in the 80th minute, and you guessed it, they quit. And earlier, the person who quit at 6-0 then added me and challenged me to another match, this time them as Birmingham and me as Coventry. as it was unranked, you can have your "personal" teams, which this person decided to transfer across the top players across the world to Brum (Rooney, Ronaldo, Messi, etc.) Within 20 match minutes, i was 3-0 still.... and they quit... WHY!!!!

If you have the balls to challenge someone, at least sit it out!!

Surely there should be some system to prevent quitters or sore losers, or if so penalises them. I now dont know if my DNF %age has gone up due to quitters.

Tell me about it, my record is 4 wins and 1 draw at the moment, the 4 wins were convincing wins to the point they quit well before the final whistle, yes its goes on the DNF % and it goes on mine as a win, but still PES too many disconnects it bans you from the service for a short period of time.

well, i dont play footie games,but quitting in motorstorm ae is one of my pet peeves,really *****ing infuriates me,especially when you lose points for it, & i do agree there should be penalty points or something put in place for all online mp games to discourage people quitting,or atleast make a system standard where if the loser quits the winner/s dont lose anything for it

Happens on the PS3 version aswell, it is very annoying, not that I am good enough for it to happen to me a lot lol

i suppose it dont help that I play as Coventry, so they think it looks bad on them especially as I have not yet vs. anyone who has picked a lower-league side, they have always been one of the top teams (Man U / Man City, Madrid, Barca, etc.). Anyone who wants a game of FIFA, just add me! Though, do message to say where you know me from (forums) just so i know who im adding!

I have FIFA 12 on both the 360 and ps3, yes I am a big FIFA fan and even though it's a truly outstanding game I have given up on the online side of the game for the very reason you complaining about. And it's the same on the vita. I gave up on the vita after a couple of games.what is wrong with people, it's a game not real life and the rankings are meaningless and have no possible worth in the real world. If these people are so rude and obsessional about rankings etc in a video game what are they like in real life? I don't think that games make people vilolent and nasty but what they do do, is give an insight into some peoples real personality. And that is scary. This is a great game in all three systems and the online game is ruined. Off topic but it's the same with tiger woods 12, the online game has been totally ruined by cheats.and there's not a thing that EA can do about it. I do believe that with FIFA 12 the system can detect when someone cuts their connection. But that's no consolation for me as I don't give a hoots about rankings. I just play for the fun, and FIFA online is never fun as you never know if and when someone is going to pull the plug. Shame on them. Rant over.
