PS Vita: General Discussion

I went into my local Game shop earlier on and seen a PS Vita Deal that looked good to me and I was just wondering that what does everybody think?

£250 for...

Wifi PS Vita

Fifa

Rayman

Modnation Racers

4GB memory card

£10 instore voucher

As I have £255 on a gift card, I thought I would get this deal however it was not in stock and they mentioned that they should have it all in stock tomorrow.

Should I get it or wait for it to be cheaper?

I think that is a pretty good deal.

I bought mine from morrisons, and got:-

- wifi vita

- 4gb card

- fifa

- 25 morrisons voucher 

- headphones

Therefore you are swapping £15 worth of vouchers for the two games.

Of course you could look at the deal as 185 for console, 12 for memory, 10 for voucher  and 50 for the games.  

I think It all depends on whether you want the games. I think Fifa and Mod are great, but not sure abou Rayman.

Its a great deal, but I would buy the items separately for  the simple reason that you can buy a bigger memory card.  Unless game let you buy a bigger card?

Ask if they can ditch the 4gb card (beyond useless) and see if you can get at least a 16gb.

apart from the 4gb memory card (which is sort of useless, and would be even more useless when the psone classics are available on the vita after firmware update 1.8) that is a really good deal. when i got my vita from HMV on release day it was for about the same price and i got the wifi vita, fifa (had a choice of fifa or uncharted but picked fifa), 4gb memory card and some preorder headphones.

GAME bundles are typically set in stone and they aren't going to let anyone chop and change. As for Rayman Origins it's a fantastic platform game and worth playing if not already done so on the home consoles. That said I have it for PS3 and still bought it for the Vita.

if you have no plans to download anything 4GB is fine

Thanks for the comments everybody.

I went to game store and got that deal today. I was rather surprised that the fifa was a download, the redeem code was inside of the Vita box (thats used most of the 4GB card up). Definetley agree that 4GB is useless; I started to download Fifa and augmented reality demos etc and got a message that I do not have enough space on the memory card lol. I think I will get a 16GB card from amazon.

I just wondered, that do you have to use Sony's memory cards? Surely you must be able to get cheaper ones.

They didn't have mod racers instock so said I can have anything for the value of the game which was £17; I got a case and screen protecter.

yes you have to use only Sony cards for now.

My Mrs only has a 4GB card but shee has not downloaded anything as she is not botherd so that suits here

I have two 16GB card got them cheaper as my Asda priced them wrong lol

Modnation is cheaper on the PS store if you want it in the future
