This isnt that great of a deal if you are a heavy data user, there used to be a trick where you can get 3-5GB of data for £5 a month with three, I know the OP's method lasts a year but as I said if you use alot of data you would be forever topping up.
My method is to get a normal Three pay as you go sim, not a proper Mobile broadband one. You insert the sim into your phone and top it up with £10 of calling credit, ignoring the requests to top up as a mobile broadband sim if asked.
You then pop the sim into your Vita, browse to the three homepage and buy 2 internet montly packages. You have to buy 2 so they queue up, faliure to buy two at once will mean once the 1st months data is used the remaining £5 will be used up very quickly.
With this you will receive 3-5gb of FUP data for £5 a month, Its a shame the vita cannot text as you also receive 300 texts.
This may or may not be available anymore but I used to do it all the time with a three broadband dongle and it worked out much cheaper than their flat 1gb per month for £10

Surely any heavy data transfer would be done over a Wi-Fi connection anyway ? Any downloads from the store over 20MB need a Wi-Fi connection anyway.
The only thing I can't do with this 3G sim is send messages and access my PS Store Download list. I still have access to the PS Store, my Friends list, the Browser and Near. That'll do me. ![]()

If the 3 network works on the Vita (with ALL 3g functions operational), I would most probably get one of these pre-paid sims. 3GB that lasts for 3 months for £11.49. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Original-Broadband-Preload
Edit : There is another one on there for £11.04 too lol ![]()

Could anyone tell me how long it takes t-mobile to send the activation code through on the iphone from when you make the call? Someone at work has agreed to let me use their phone for this, but only if it's reasonably fast.
Thanks
You first have to go through an automated, press 1 or 2...all that malarky. Then once you're getting transferred through to an assistant it can take anywhere from five minutes to twenty, depending on how busy it is (I suggest calling in the morning).
It took me about twenty minutes on the phone but 24 hours to activate the deal.
I was using the PlayStation Store today over 3G and online features on games were working
