I need help with this its putting me off pre owned games

Just delete the contents of the card. Press and hold icon, then press the ... and choose delete

if you do buy a pre-owned game you may get a message saying...

"You cannot earn trophies in this application. Only the first player to use an application can earn trophies. To earn trophies, you must link the Sony Entertainment Network account of the first player to use this application with the PS Vita system."

to allow you to earn trophies you will need to format the game card.....it is quick and easy to do so

once you enter the game into you Vita and its installed you need to return to the main menu and touch and hold the screen for two seconds. This lets you rearrange icons and change the background

Also, each icon has a little "…" bubble to the top right. This lets you see information on a game, delete unwanted demos, and, most usefully, format pre-played cards.

Simply click on the little bubble above your chosen game and select delete

select OK from this screen....

Now, load the game again, and it will switch over to the Sony Entertainment Network account currently associated with the system.

You now should able to collect trophies for this game on your account

Hope that may reassure you...........you can earn trophies on a pre-owned game
