It's all very subjective and different people will have different opinions. In my opinion the Vita has better sound then the PSP but the iPhone has better sound then the Vita. It also depends on whether you're using the speakers or headphones and if headphones which ones.

Ok guys since i do not own it yet, i will accept people saying that iphone sounds better than ps vita untill further proof, i have decided to then buy a sony walkman a864 instead, this doesnt mean i wont buy ps vita at all, i am and will be still very interested into buying it one day as soon as i see official release date for psone support and more games in the way, it is simply the most powerfull gaming portable machine ever built and the oled (even if its a crappy samsung oled) will seal the deal for me!

At the moment the Walkman would probably be better value for money if you just want an mp3 player.

of course the vita has music unlimited which is a massive,MASSIVE catalogue of music all available upon the day of realease for a subscription per month, use a decent pair of headphones (i have some BEATS love my wife) & i don't think you'll be disappointed.....i suggest trying it most HMVs will let you sample systems & headphones now.....good luck fella.

sounds not bad on vita prefer the sound through the psp tbh sounds fuller somehow.

get an iphone/ipad if you're looking to listen to music and star to enjoy iTunes.

Thanks for the tip but the iphone or ipad are no match even for a860 sony walkman series, i dont get it why people think its good, its sound is average quality.
