How have you split your screens?

I know there's another thread up top about backgrounds and stuff people have used to customize their PSVita and although this is somewhat related, I didn't want to derail it from people posting the seriously cool backgrounds they've made.

It crossed my mind that judging by the different headings people give their backgrounds (for those that have shown them) that everyone has a slightly different way of spliting all those bubbles up into manageable chunks.

I'm curious to know if most people bother to sort out their icons or just leave 'em where they fall. Do you bother with backgrounds? Do you go as far as making your own if you do? Do people tend to group the same icons together? Meh, I figure I was a cat in a past life... far too curious for my own good.

Re: How have you split your screens?

I just wish Sony would add folders.

It would be much quicker to have a bunch of folders on a single screen than to scroll up and down.

Re: How have you split your screens?

i use these to divide my screens http://www.caemgen.nl/2012/07/10/ps-vita-wallpaper-pack-4/

hopefully ina future patch sony will allow us to customise the icons and backgrounds for games because the psp and minis background and icons dont fit properly

Re: How have you split your screens?

I sort them out because I find it much easier to spend like 5 mins once and set them up than having to scroll 4 screens down to find the ones I want.

Having said that, I basically sort them according to usage. The apps and games I use most go on the first page, then second etc. Last time I did it I decided to sort them to fit my backgrounds and it worked out really well so I'll keep it this way.

And personally no I don't make my own. I'm all for customization but I can't be bothered tbh even though I'm adept at Photoshop. I just find images I really like on the internet and resize them or crop them to fit the screen well.

Below are my screens (Big fan of fiction as you can probably tell)

Re: How have you split your screens?

I have abit of OCD, so i have mine ordered so that the screen is even.
Screen 1: Default apps that im not likely to use much (photo/music/video, etc)
Screen 2: Apps that i will use at some point (facebook, twitter, youtube, trophies, friends, messages)
Screen 3: PS Vita games - Cartridges as they are most frequently played
Screen 4: PS Vita games - PSN Downloads
Screen 5: PSP games
Screen 6: Mini's

I usually start out on screen 3, so have to scroll 2 screens max to content i want, generally

Mine is pretty much the same except I have no PSP games and only two or three Minis.

I'm a graphic designer/Illustrator by trade so I design my own, create the text for the side and change the colours of text etc when I change the wallpaper, like so:
