To those that have activated your SIM and received the wipeout code, does you phone number show up under the Vitas System Info?

If is the first time you top up by voucher do the following:

1 - Take your SIM card and insert it into another vodafone mobile (or any other unlocked mobile phone)

2 - Call *#1345* followed by voucher PIN number followed by #

For example, if your Voucher PIN number is 123456789012 (usually 12 numbers) then call *#1345*123456789012#.

A message should apear saying your SIM has beem topped up.

3- Put the SIM in your PS VITA again. A message from Vodafone should come with 15 minutes or so saying welcome e giving your Vipeout cownload code.

4 - Enjoy! :- )

Are you sure about that Kimberlitus? Their terms and conditions explicitly say that you must top-up online to qualify for the WipEout code - not over the phone. I wouldn't risk doing that personally.

I had problems getting the security code texted to me through the Vita (in order to register a Vodafone account through the browser), but all I had to do in the end was turn off wi-fi and enable 3G. You will not get the text if you have wi-fi enabled.

Can anyone teach me how to top up the sim from vodafone for ps vita?

turn wi-fi off.then restart vita and go to network operator(vodafone).follow on screen info.you will then receive messages from vodafone including download code.worked for me.good luck.

This is the only part of the Vita that's annoying me.

If anyone is having problems. just send Vodafone an email and they will phone back within 24hours.
I spoke to a very charming lady when I was getting mine sorted out.

I don't have the Phone Number listed in my System Info. so god knows what Sony devs are doing with that.

I sorted it by going to the network operator tab, and choosing Vodafone. Then I opened the browser, went to google with 3G only enabled. It redirected to vodafone, where I signed up, topped up via a voucher and got it working

My phone number isn't listed either
