PS Vita: General Discussion

Are there any instructions on how to register with Vodafone and top up to get WipeOut. 

I tried going to the site to register, I entered my "PH Number" that is on the Vodafone leaflet that I got with the Vita. It then says it will text me a security code which doesnt seem right.

How do you do it ?

I'm not sure how this 3G works myself....

personally i've got the SIM card in and it says"vodaphone 3g" so I've temporarily disabled it until i can work out what to do....

I don't want to be charged as soon as i've subscribed because i've accidently used it....Will probablty leave it disabled while i'm at home just incase i lose wifi signal and go onto 3G without knowing

Apparently the Vita can recieve text messages. but I have not recieved anything yet, unless it isnt set up untill tomorrow.

The vita can recive text messages so it is possible. I'm waiting till tomorrow

It's all done on a website, the vita asks you during first setup if you want the register now or later, if you skipped that part then you'll have go to the dedicated app for the network, this app also is were you can top up...

I am on the site that you access on the Vita and have entered all the information but its says there is a temporary problem with the service. I'll try again tomorrow.

I've tried using the Network Operator app and selecting Vodafone UK as the APN with no luck. Still the same error (NW-2305-0). Have to wait until tomorrow I guess

Guys, as far as Vodafone is concerned you won't have your Vitas until tomorrow (launch), chillax and it will soon start to work.

here should be all you need to know about 3G vodafone. i just plugged my sim card in and all appears to be working, ie i have 3G signal etc, but i'm disabling it cause i dont want to spend by accident.
