Whydo you need other people to validate a purchase for you?

PSP is great for RPG

e.g you can play FF VII on it which I am currently doing.

otherwise it is poor as you say.

To be fair I've always felt the PSP has been abit lacking, like theres afew things missing. Things like a second analogue stick (which the Vita now has), its own killer puzzle game to rival the likes of Tetris, its own Pokemon sort of RPG and some original games rather than the same old franchises on a new system.

Care to elaborate, I felt peace walker was the only really decent title on the platform. The rest had poor controls, I just didn't feel immersed in any of the games I played on it.

Besides GOW, patapon, monster hunter, locoroco, portable ops and peace walker none of them were exactly console shifters were they. They worked well on the system but were ultimately flawed due to the control layout. Reviews aren't anything to go by anymore either, but if htey were 7 isn't what I'd call good.

Maybe not in your world, but as far as reviews go - that's considered 'good'.

Game sales also don't equate to quality - just because they didn't 'shift consoles' doesn't make them any less technically proficient.

The PSP started off good but then the pirates in the disguise of "homebrew gamers" destroyed the platform for a lot of games publishers and developers and they abandoned it in droves.  Think about that next time you illegally download something - your actions really do have a material effect.

Seriously, I love my PSP, and I now have a PSP GO which I love too.

To many miserable, unapreciative, demanding, whinging types about nowadays...there were loads of great titles on PSP.

As for us convincing you to buy something, ***** you. You're sick. Buy it or don't but don't sit there revelling in people grovelling or doing research for you.

I hope you don't buy one personally, so you'll never know.
