Shuhei Yoshida is even quoted on TSA as saying…
“I’m getting lots of tweets from people saying, ‘where are PS Vita games?’” said Yoshida about the conference. That was, in retrospect, our fault – not looking at every angle when we designed the programme for the show.”
“We could have spent more time – probably we should – showing off those games coming out this year,” he admitted.

Sony you really have no idea sometimes!!

Ironically I love my Vita and have plenty of games on the go... it's just the principle of Sony dropping the ball again and not pushing the Vita at all!
The amount of people posting they are selling their Vita is crazy for a handheld with such potential!

There's a fair mishmash of stuff here - some are PSN only release, others ports or what have you. I didn't put names but a list is:

PS Allstars, Sly Cooper, Orgarythm, Sunflower, Monkey Ball, Jet Set Radio, Metal Gear HD, Oddworld, Retro City Rampage, Sine Mora, Hatsune Miku, Snapshot, Lego Batman, 

The things that are coming that isn't above (no gameplay yet) : Assassins Creed, CoD, Persona 4 Golden (upscale of an old game), Fifa & Madden.

Tbh what people mean by "no games" is no AAA games and that is true. Then again, how often does any platform get a genuine AAA game? For PS360 probably 5 times a year and those are long established consoles with maximum development focus from both 1st and 3rd parties. For Wii, even with it's sales, it probably only gets a couple of AAA titles a year because 3rd parties don't invest so much into it.

3DS managed to get 2 in it's first year (possibly 3 I haven't looked at Icarus so no idea if that's AAA or not) and both of those could have been DS games - the 3D aspect was irrelevant to gameplay (as was touch screen). Vita probably only has Uncharted right now, but that is an uncharted that couldn't have been done on PSP.

CoD and AssCreed would ordinarily be considered AAA in their console incarnations - the Vita versions are almost certainly not AAA or even upgradeable to AAA status. In fact, I suspect CoD will either be delayed from it's nominal "Holidays" release or be awful. Hopefully they delay it and do a decent job...

There are apparently 25+ Vita games at the show…..
According to a post on Shuhei Yoshida’s(Big Sony Boss) twitter page.

Might it be an idea to post a list of these with some pictures on the PSN EU Blog to show us whats coming up?

they will probably do that after e3 they are probably more focused on the show.
just watched atlus talk about persona 4 arena and golden on the live stream, persona 4 golden will do well on the vita I think as it looks amazing on the vita's screen.

Um, there aren't going to be games if no one buys them. 

Look at Ninty - they have a new console due this year and could only announce 2 first party games for it (a Wii upscaled game and a 2D platformer) and a small amount of 3rd party stuff which is notably missing EA and Acti.

Meanwhile, Sony launched a handheld this year with 40 games to date, some of their biggst IPs and another 20 or so to come this year including EA (Fifa/Madden), Ubi (Assassins Creed) and Acti (lol CoD).

Really, while it might not be what one wants, one also has to realise we're in the midst of a deep recession and all the companies are hurting. There simply isn't the money to throw around and take chances - 3rd parties will stick to what sells and Sony has, in that context done a good job of getting stuff ported and developed for a platform which has a small install base.

Sony is performing far better than the other options available in this space in terms of delivering new content both for PS3 and Vita.

If that's not good enough, try a different brand.

To play devil's advocate and to be fair to Nintendo they also announced a number of second party titles too plus no doubt over the coming months there will be more first, second and third party games announced. Not everything will be ready for announcement at E3. The same applies to Sony and the Vita. One thing I've noticed here and other forums is way too many people over reacting and just whining, moaning and complaining when they have no justifiable reason to.

I'm downloading some of my old psp games to vita and the graphics are horrible because they are not original size...I would love to know how to ask Sony to include an update so that these games are played original size

come on i love the vita and the games are a blast

try and get unit 13 and beat your friends within the score frame or join others and beat theres

try asphalt injection if your into car games with upto 8 players via wifi or local lan

try resistance burning skies if you like the multiplayer similar to the consoles version

try everybodys golf if your into your golf and compete in online tournements and become the best there is

anyways its you own fault you bought it at launch as you should of waited a few months as there going cheaper than anything now

Still a poor E3 presentation People have not bothered looking or following things up due to Sony poor presentation. It's alright posting those links but at the presentation the Vita was just about ignored
