Vita is the first SONY console I wont be buying at launch for a couple of reasons. First is the fact theres no Monster Hunter title, and frankly thats the only reason I have played my PSP in recent years because most of the other games were poo. Secondly the way they price downloads on the PSN is atrocious, BF3 was 39.99 in Game a week after launch and £60.00 on the PS Store, how can SONY justify screwing us over? I believe that once we give in to download only titles then they will have us by the balls. I have never owned a Microsoft console but I am honestly thinking about getting a 360, SCEE have allowed MS to trample us and treat us like second class consumers for ages now and haven't lifted a finger while we have been forced to endure timed exclusives and horrible ports of our favourite games, it is obvious to all and sundry that the writing is on the wall for SONY as a console manufacturer due to their lack of ability to connect with their customer base, and now they are squeezing every last drop from us before it goes ***** up.
I just wish they would learn from past ***** ups, Betamax=FAIL UMD=FAIL propriety memory card....
Every time they try to control us they fail miserably, people always go with the option that gives you some free s h i t.

Instead of creating a account on here just to say this. Just go and buy a 360. Also how is this Sony's fault for Battlefield 3 being expensive on the store?

Please tell me I would love to here how its there fault.............(he lied).

QFT, I really wish that people like TheobenR7 would just do what they say rather than complain all the time.

Oh apologies for giving my honest opinion on the matter, I will henceforth either lie and tell everyone that I think things are going great and I love being shafted, or take my honest opinions elsewhere to avoid being flamed or called names.
PS, I don't complain all the time, only when I have a legitimate reason to complain. What better place to try and get your message across ?

Re: Is Vita selling well in the UK?

Saw some figures on a news widget i have on my phone yesterday. It said that US and European "sales" (not shipped) were at 600,000. They also said 600,000 had been sold in Japan. So thats about 1.2 million total sales.

Re: Is Vita selling well in the UK?

If they bring out a Monster Hunter game it will take off in Japan and the west, a new console is perfect to introduce people to MH. I had all but given up on PSP till MHF came out, it was actually MHG that we didn't get on PS2, maybe if they released the HD version on Vita...

Re: Is Vita selling well in the UK?

I've been keeping my Vita safe like a baby, I don't enjoy other people wanting to play with it, when I'm not using it its always in my little cheap GAME brand Ps Vita case that is actually a pretty nice quality and well made case. I think its a travelling one, but the inside has a little fluffy bit for the vita, then little game pockets.

I've not came across a single scratch yet, The only issue I have right now is that a little bit of dirt made a bubble on my screen protector but I'm to lazy to try put an other one one =D

Re: Is Vita selling well in the UK?

We find out soon. Think its selling well but not as good as when the psp or good as it should. Vita is not cheap but fairly priced for a new item but am still struggling to find good games that don't cost soo much. With Apple probably bringing out a new iPad am sure it will affect sales of the Vita slightly and sure people have held back on the vita. Sony say premium gaming experience ....£44 for uncharted I paid. Sony best pray Apple do not decide to create a portable console soon , if they did Sony would not be so brave to charge that much for games .
