for those of you  who upgraded and currently using 32GB storage for their psp... i'm sure you are familiar with this..

with the recent pricing of the memory card by PSvita..  LOL

i'm sure people are looking forward to these adapters to expand their storage space and also  save big $$$$

Sadly, the gits at Sony R&D seem to be foisting a new memory card format on us.

It looks almost but not quite like the Memory Stick Micro M2 in form. With any luck it will be big enough to allow for the existence of an SD adaptor, but I'm not holding my breath.

don't worry .. it's escalation type of thing with these techs..

sony upgraded.. so will the third party

since i'm using 32GB for my psp right now..

and no way in hell i'm going to pay $124 for a 32GB .. memory card for psvita

there will be options available when the system is out! i'm sure!

Well there is a new memory card that is for the games but it also says a memory stick slot on the features so hopefully we can have these again

The new memory cards looks a similar size to the micro sd cards. If so then it will be difficult to buy adaptors to hold the cheaper micro sd cards because of their size. I hope there is an alternative option though, as the pricing is ridiculous.

Arm and a leg?
more like the first bone son.....

and you need space for the games AND more for any UPDATES and DLC that they will require..
eg. i have Playstation all-stars battle royale....
on a 4GB memory you can ONLY have the game, no music, no nothing else
base game 1600+MB (v1.01)
first update (v1.03) around 200MB

1.05 was around 400MB

1.07 was aroung 600MB

1.10 was aroung 900MB

and the updates basically rewrite the old one so u need to donwload the whole update

right now out of the 3600+MB available of the 4GB card i only have 1400MB free, and that is only the game, 0 music, 0 pictures, zero anything else

on the old PSP you only needed updates fr the system, that meant that if you had and old 512MB memory you could use that ne for system updates, leave you main one for games and you media....

the said the same about the MS-pro duo, that is was too small to use SD cards..
the first adapter that came out used the then cheaper SD (large) cards
if i remember correctly it was the Photofast CR-3100 (dual SD cards)
after a while and the microSD cards becam almost as cheap as SD one, came the CR-5400 (dual microSD) and then i saw single micro sd card adapters....

so the first adapter for the vita would be something similar to the CR-3100... a dummy card in the Vita memory slot with an external slot for single or maybe even dual microSD cards
