Yeah, games come last, which was why i was asking if vita got anything substantial. if it had, i would have waited on playing it at all, and then played the vita version for the additional content, rather than playing through it on ps3 then vita lol

Well, rather than wait take a look at the PS3 version which also includes Peace Walker ofc.

Also, you can share saves PS3<->Vita ("Transfar" as Konami call it) so if you get back into work and get the Vita version before you finish on PS3, you can carry on on Vita. I think trophies transfer/transfar too for this game.

Besides being able to play 2 extreemly well received MGS games anywhere & everywhere plus the Metal 1/2 games?

Ah, i was just wandering because I got made redundant over the weekend, so havent got the funds to go spending on brand new games, so if there isnt much in it between the 2 versions, i will just lend it off my friend on the PS3.

Thanks for the info, Transfar sounds pretty good. Would be useful on other titles which are multiplatform (Assassins Creed, FIFA13, LBP for level creation).

I'm not sure why this collection appeals to me on the Vita over the PS3... I've asked myself that very question, but it just does...

If you look at what boxes does it tick for me in my checklist, the major one has a big X next to it... ie: I prefer my third person story games on the big screen, and on handheld I prefer to play pick up and play, and level up games with simple controls..

I think what it boils down to, as much as I'm avoiding the HD remaster phase as much as I can, I haven't entirely avoided it... and with Jak 2 and 3 barely started, DMC2 barely played, and DMC3 long overdue more game time... and Ratchet due on my doorstep tomorrow, I just have way too many PS2 games to play on the PS3 this year while I wait for Assassins and Borderlands 2, and the only genuine PS3 game gaming on my to do list being some more hours on Max Payne 3 and Borderlands DLC...

And... I don't really care for Peace Walker and have no more Vita games on my wishlist until LittleBigPlanet, I'm sure I can find room for another Vita game..

All things being equal, surely a game you can play anywhere anytime is prefereable to one you can only play in one place sometimes - i.e. one room at home when the TV is available.

The question is whether the controls and smaller screen size are good enough to make the equation above come out in favour of Vita, and that depends on one's priorities (and physiology).

However, I am just now watching the MGS2 intro vid while sat in the garden (under some shade btw), It still looks (and sounds) great.

Anyone know what time it will arive on the PSN store?

I've got a 7:45am flight tomorrow morning, meaing I need to leave my house by 5am to get to the airport.

As I really hate flying I was hoping to get engrossed in this for a couple of hours.

Alternativly, anyone know if the shops in heathrow sell games?

I can't check right now but it should be on there by now.

Out tomorrow unknown time so best to keep checking after midnight. I know game and hmv will sell it (im unsure what shops are in heathrow)
