For the impatient..agreed. Also, someone could be waiting a day plus downloading ....highly dependant on connection speed, of course.

But I must admit £7 to some people is a massive saving for a retail cart

And if you had pre ordered with Shopto not only would you of saved £7 but it most likely would of arrived a day before release day so like me you would of had a days head start on the game !!!

You missed out on getting the game a day early because you are impatient makes sense not !!!

Tempted... but I have the original release of MK(9) on PS3, and haven't been that motivated to play it much of late, having lost all my trophies and data during YLOD during the network downage last year, and having to start again...

I'm also mixed on the idea of hammering the Vita controls too much with a beat-em-up..

I still surpises me that people actualy use Meta Critic, its only since the MW3 crap that i saw it being mentioned more often.

Game devs hate it, and what happened with MW3 is prime example of why.

For refrence, i prefer reading player reviews.

I don't know why it surprises you. In my mind there is nothing wrong with Metacritic. As far as I'm concerned reviews by games journalists are still important and one way to gauge the quality of the games. They are after all just personal opinions just like regular gamer reviews. In my opinion gamer reviews are more likely to have bias and based on fanboyism ( I don't really like using that word ) then professional reviews. Besides all Metacritic does is bring them altogether so rather then having to trawl through countless web sites and magazines they are all there in one place with an average. It's by no means perfect but it's a useful tool in my mind.

I got my from Simply Games for £23.85 with free shipping and had it two days before. Can't really beat that.
