PS Vita: General Discussion

I've just started a Music Unlimited subscription, which works great on PC, PS3 and PSP. It will not load on the Vita though. When I check the authorised devices on my SEN account it shows the Vita authorised only for video. Whenever I load the Music Unlimited app on the Vita it throws us a network connect error. 

Do you think this due to it not authorising for music and only video? No matter how many times I deauthorise and authorise again it wont put the music symbol agains the Vita device, even if I deauthorise the PSP system first.

Hmmm strange one. It could be something to do with your network not having the right ports for authentication. Can/have you tried connecting via a different wifi and/or 3G?

Other than that doing a restore of the vita system might help (including the deactivate step).

Tried a different internet connection and same issue, application wont load with just giving a connection error. Gone through a complete restore too and same result. It says that its activated but still no music icon showing on authorised systems screen. 

I'm not entirely convinced now that it is an activation problem and more an application problem. I've tried to email support but they only seem to want you to ring them on an 0844 number. Ill keep trying different things first and call support as a last resort.

Checked my vita on the sen website - it shows activated but only a video icon too. Music unlimited work ok on the vita. I guess you've a Ready tried deleti and redownloading the app.... It does sound like an app issue rather than activation. Rotor.

Yeah tried that after you first said. If yours looks the same on the authorised devices screen then I guess that's the way it shoudl look. Might give them a call, need them to remove an old broken PS3 from there anyway lol. Thanks.

It works now. Nothing changed other than its not a trial anymore.
