You have just got to love that people are blaming Sony...
Come on its not just Sony....its everyone and everything.
We are being ripped off because we pay it.
Im looking at buying a WRX at the moment.
a new WRX in Australia costs over $44,000...
In the states its $25,500 and thats USD so converted its $24,000.
Yes its hard to swallow, but Australia is one of the most expensive
places in the world...America is actually one of the cheapest
(as a developed nation anyway). There is alot of excuses we are forcefed
as to why...at the end of the day some countries things are more
expensive because we pay it.
The arguement of flucuating exchange rates I find laughable at the moment,
considering we have been at parity with the USD for over 2 years.
With games I just dont really buy here. my Vita I setup with a US psn
and thats how I buy my games online...if I want a hard copy I would
buy from ozgameshop.

So on one hand you say sony are not at fault then in the next sentence you admit sony are ripping us off and its ok because everyone else does it? that's the same excuse apple used when some parliment member asked them to justify an increase of prices to Australians.

to be fair though, with the consistently stron AU$ prices for everything have been slowly adjusting it's just going to take time, the companies need to be confident that the dollar will stay strong before they start dropping prices otherwise they have to jack them up in a hurry, and then that ***** people off, for example; the latest TV is actually boardering on being cheaper here than in the US (remember they add tax after, we include it in the price) and the same is happening with games, albeit slowly

Where did I say Sony where or not at "fault".
I said nothing of the sort...
Im simply stating the facts.
And just abit sick of the whinging people do regarding
prices of games here...sure we pay more.
But if you dont like it dont buy here. Its as simple as that.
Thats the only way large companies will listen.
Lol and where did I say it was "ok"...I dont buy games in Australia.
the reason I dont is they are too expensive.
People should speak with their wallets and not crying on
forum...all the live long day about game prices in Australia.
