PS VITA - New Monster Hunter game?

I used to have a PS2 and loved to play monster hunter games, then I bought a PSP and tested if those games would be as good. Turns out they were great!

I am hoping there will be a Monster Hunter game coming to the PS VITA.

I just wish you would be able to play with other players using wifi.

What do you think the New Monster Hunter game will be like (if it is announced)?

The new one has been announced for 3DS only. The impression Capcom gives is that they have no current plans to bring the franchise to the Vita.

They're not turning against the PS3 or Vita. They do what makes best business sense for them.

Whut?

Two Resident Evil games Wii HD upgrades

Okami Move HD excliusive

The 360 gets none of those three games :smileysad:

The 3DS has been out longer and the Wii MH was a success and the 3DS is doing ok so that's why they chose the 3DS for now.

I can bet a Vita version is being planed or worked on as the PSP version have always done well.

Just a matter of time,

Below is a Signature

Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?

you are super casual. the point of monster hunter is that timing and skill is everything. a lock on system would kill it.  if you cant hit anything than go back to your god of war crap and leave monster hunter to the real gamers.

Re: PS VITA - New Monster Hunter game?

capcom would hint about making a new vita game, besides, they have already announced about two weeks ago they have no desire to make any psvita games, if they made one secretly by the time it would be released knowone would know about it and it would not sell. so make the most of monster hunter on the psp! :smileyvery-happy:

Seeing as Monster Hunter for the PSP was the franchise which single-handedly carried the PSP to absolute glory in Japan it's obviously not good business sense. Every single critic on the planet has said that it was stupid to ignore the Vita from Capcom's part as they could have not only closed a good deal with SCEJ, but based on the success of the PSP titles could have carried the console skyward. They went with the safer option instead. And we all know they're one of the 3rd party devs who have been snubbing the Vita from the beggining. Their loss I say

As for Monster Hunter once you get used to the controls that game is really good and a marvelous challenge in the later stages. I think it's one of those where you have to give it at least a solid 5 hours before you can decide if it's for you or not.

Ah well, I shall wait for Soul Sacrifice instead.
