Seeing as Monster Hunter for the PSP was the franchise which single-handedly carried the PSP to absolute glory in Japan it's obviously not good business sense. Every single critic on the planet has said that it was stupid to ignore the Vita from Capcom's part as they could have not only closed a good deal with SCEJ, but based on the success of the PSP titles could have carried the console skyward. They went with the safer option instead. And we all know they're one of the 3rd party devs who have been snubbing the Vita from the beggining. Their loss I say

As for Monster Hunter once you get used to the controls that game is really good and a marvelous challenge in the later stages. I think it's one of those where you have to give it at least a solid 5 hours before you can decide if it's for you or not.

Ah well, I shall wait for Soul Sacrifice instead.

Capcom is not ignoring the Vita, that have Mavel V's Capcom out and SF Tekken X coming.

They have not said anything about Monsterhunter on Vita yet does not mean it won't come.

Looks like their is a Resident Evil Vita in the works which was originally the PSP game but was held back to work on the newer platform.

I don't know where your getting your info from but it look like you need to change your source

And why close a deal to make the game only on one platform when they could sell more being on anther handheld.

Sony and Capcom have never had a deal on Monster Hunter in the first place so why have one now?

Many 3rd party are working on the Vita are not rushing it.

Also many are just holding back as we are in the middle of yet anther recession and people are tight with their money as other things are important.

The financial market is in turmoil that is why people/developers and publishers are not taking more risks right now,

I hate how always the "Monster Hunter PS Vita possibility" threads end up in just a Sony Vs. Nintendo post. My personal opinion is its logical that a MH game shows up in the Vita at some point but its going to take a good while since we have to wait for the whole wave of MH games on the 3DS to pass. In the meantime Ill enjoy other MH like games already coming for Vita such as Ragnarok Odyssey, Soul Sacrifice and Phantasy Star Online 2.

How much did the new game for the 3ds make , and do u really think it  make more money even if u made on the ps vita or ps3????(btw I am talking about monster hunter)

I agree, for them to scrap the Portable/Freedom franchise itself, or move it to a single handheld would destroy me... however seeing CAPCOM show MHP3 running on a vita about a year before the vitas release is giving me hope it will come out on vita.

They did not, the only thing you could see were photo shop of what some one thought the vita would look like and put a picture from the Wii's MH game on the screen.

it sucks that there has been no announcement yet for a new monhan to come out on the VITA; the only reason PSP still lives in Japan is coz MHP 3rd. Sony needs to think of their future plans, my VITA is just gathering dust.

its capcom, just wait for something like MH4 golden, or Ultimate MH4 or whatever, they will definitely do loads of version for 1 game, and there's a high chance u can get it on vita, because its capcom.....
