Unit 13 Coming from Zipper Interactive

It was revealed that the developer of MAG and the SOCOM series is working on a third-person shooter called Unit 13, to be released around the launch window of PS Vita.

Evolution Studios’ MotorStorm RC Revealed

Yet another new title coming to PS Vita and PS3 and playable at today’s event, MotorStorm RC blends old-school remote control and contemporary racing gameplay. Cross Play lets PS Vita and PS3 players to compete. You can find out more in this announcement blog post from Evolution.

Social Essentials Shown

We learned that Flickr is joining Twitter, Facebook and FourSquare in Social Essentials, PS Vita’s gateway into the most popular social media channels, and they were available to test at the London event. We’ll be showing you exactly how to Like, Tweet, Tag and all the rest  on the PlayStation.Blog soon.

Augmented Reality Markers

Augmented Reality is one of the directions open to PlayStation Vita developers and it was announced that six Augmented Reality markers will be available at launch, with three games available to download for free from PlayStation Store. Is Motorstorm RC download only or is it going to be a retail game as well?

I think it's a downloadable only as the ps3 version is a psn game.

The more I see about the Vita and it's games line up the more I want. Now I have the difficult decision of which game to get on launch

Really looking forward to Motorstorm RC. Loved ReVolt back in the day and this will scratch that itch nicely. That you get both the Vita and PS3 versions for once price is fantastic news and I hope that other games follow the same premise (Dragons Crown, Ruin, etc.)

Quite frankly there are too many games that I'm interested in. I may even wait a month or two on Uncharted and Wipeout just so that I can enjoy the smaller games that are surely going to get overlooked by a lot of people since there is so much out. 

Not to mention the likes of Rayman which is going to look stunning on the Vita, the Crash Bandicoot games for the PS1 that I just for free with PSN+ and FF 7-9 that I need to play through as well. 

So much content for this system.

Super Stardust Delta has been removed on the blog post with no mention of why, is it no longer coming at launch? Love the series and it is one of the games I'm most looking forward too.

Everyone seems to have Golden Abyss as their most wanted vita launch game, judging by the poll on the blog. This baffles me

The simple fact is uncharted singleplayer takes about 12 hours to complete, based on my experience of uncharted 1 & 2 (have not played 3). They haven't shown anything to justify paying full price at launch for it.

All 3 of the Uncharted games have been amazing. I don't see why Golden Abyss won't be. The gameplay video's I have seen of it looks great hence why it is top of my list.

Gutted. I was kind of hoping Dynasty Warriors, Shinobido (I want this game badly)and Ridge Racer would be available around launch time. According to Play Asia they are all out in Japan same day as Vita. *cries a bit*

Ah well, it will mean Vita launch is cheaper for me. Only launch title i'm interested in is Uncharted, from that list.

Some of the games listed as 'in development' I haven't heard of before and had to look up. Puddle looks like it will be either a lot of fun or very frustrating. Possibly both! Haha.
