lol name me one game that isnt mature you would class as essential.
There are quite a few including the ones Tootell_x mentioned. If all you play is mature games then your gaming experience is pretty limited and I wouldn't consider you as being a true gamer. I also doubt many people would agree with your view.

I'm not the only one. Unlike you there are a lot of people out there who enjoy different consoles and aren't biased towards one because they appreciate what each one has to offer.

Re: PS Vita or Nintendo 3ds XL

No a true gamer can see the positives and negatives of each platform.

Which you can't

Also you don't see your  so called none mature games as essential.

A game is fun to play no matter if it is Mario Kart, Zelda, Kirby, Kid Icorus, Resident Evil, Kilzone, Halo, Golf, football ect ect ect

Give me Zelda over COD any day TBH.

Re: PS Vita or Nintendo 3ds XL

I got both, bought the 3DS XL first then bought a vita later..

I'd say get the vita definitely! The games have more content and its just more fun imo, 3DS games are really expensive, and they never drop price..especially the first party nintendo games, so I basically just use it to play pokemon lol

However the 3D on 3DS is really good, it really makes the games fun, when the 3D is on it feels like a completely different game.

Yea so its your call, I'd say get the vita tho, im not really regretting any of my purchases, getting broke though :smileyvery-happy:

Re: PS Vita or Nintendo 3ds XL

From someone that's owned both since launch day, my unbiased opinion is that the 3DS can't touch the Vita.

Nintendo really haven't got as much quality content available as I think most people were hoping for by now. Resident Evil Revelations was excellent admittedly, but if you are a bit strapped for cash, I personally don't feel there's enough decent software to justify a purchase.

The Vita on the other hand, for me, was worth the purchase solely for Uncharted Golden Abyss, let alone some of the other wonderful games such as MGS HD and Everbody's Golf. The back catalogue of compatible PSP and PSOne titles also represent excellent value for money when compared to Nintendo's downloadable offerings on their store.

Re: PS Vita or Nintendo 3ds XL

YEs Ninty hit the jackpot with Mario 3D and Mario Kart and of course they had some solid 2nd tier games come along soon after too.

But now, things seem to be a bit quiet with the 3DS - I wonder if the WiiU launch is biting into their first party resource and it might remain unloved for a while....

While the 3DS is selling well in Japan, it doesn't seem to be making as a bit a dent elsewhere - I get the impression Japan is not into its smartphone gaming as much as the West though.

Rotor.
