i like the idea of it, but it's a shame they didn't "integrate" it into a hard case for the Vita, that would have hit the nail on the head!

Got mine the other day from shopto...would of purchased from play but can't stand their shoddy delivery times.

I couldn't find it on the Shop To site for some reason. Regards Play.com it took four days to be delivered. If it was a new game that I was anticipating and really looking forward to then that wouldn't be good enough. However for the portable charger I'm not too bothered. Mine arrived today. I'll check it out over the weekend. I'm wondering if it will work with my iPhone and iPad.

I've seen it in GAME but it was £45 so too pricy for me

No it doesn't. It a separate item and you have to carry it separately. It's not a battery pack but a portable charger. You connect the Vita to it to charge. Once the Vita is charged you disconnect it. I don't know if the Vita can be played whilst it's being charged by the portable charger as I've not tried it. My Vita is fully charged right now so I can't use the portable charger yet. You have to use the power supply and USB cable that came with the Vita to charge the portable charger. It will flash red whilst charging and then green once charged.
