You don't need to use the circle pad pro. From what I've read Monster Hunter Tri and Resident Evil Revelations are perfectly playable without it. I do own a 3Ds but don't have either of those games or the circle pad pro.

Which is why it is a bad idea in the first place. Nintendo should know more than most that these accessories don't solve the problem, any control scheme that isn't shipped as standard will not be adopted properly by the developers.

That's why they were successful with the Wii, they had to force the controls upon developers to make them adopt it.

I think the circle pad pro was more Capcom's doing then Nibtendos. They wanted it for Monster Hunter Tri and Resident Evil both of which are exclusive to the 3DS. Obviously Capcom had a big influence on Nintendo's decision to release it. I very much doubt if the circumstances were different it would have seen the light of day. Now the stand for Kid Icarus is obviously all Nintendo's doing. That said they are not the first hardware manufacturer to introduce such peripherals and they won't be the last.

They won't do that because they can't now. It's too late as they would be fragmenting the user base. Not to mention developers for the most will develop for the lowest common denominator which is the existing 3DS with one slide pad. A lot of people assume that's what Nintendo will do but it's not going to happen. Why do you think Sony never introduced a revision of the PSP with two analogue sticks when they realised their mistake.

Re: •••PSV Go•••

It's not going to happen. Remember what happened to the last Go? Yeah, so does Sony.

^ the difference is this portable device from Sony is without a doubt a better release & I'm sure the figures for the day will be sh hhed loads better than the PSP first week figures! The PSP Go failed because of the download only functionality were as the Vita, wilst Sony are seemingly after the the digital market are still open with the use of the cartridge and all this would easily fit in a Go sized device!!

Re: •••PSV Go•••

Assuming when you say a 'go' version you mean where the games are downloadable only, then no. Game wise i prefer having actual hard copies. For that reason i hated the idea of the 'go'.

They won't have much luck in the digital market with the price of their memory cards. You would need 64GB & above for the hardcore guys & gals.

Re: •••PSV Go•••

No I meen Go as in the size a portability!
Clearly a game cartridge slot would be a given and would easily fit it's size...
What are people not getting, think of it as a PSVita Slim...
I'm beginning to see the word "Go" is a bad word in the Playstion™ community, yeah it was a complete failure but the concept can work better with the Vita as it's master, all I see is a win-win for all, a smaller and more pocketable console!

Re: •••PSV Go•••

I think it's small enough. It's a good size. Can't see how it could be ''trimmed''. It fits on the inside of my coat pocket, that's as portable as I need it :smileyvery-happy:

Re: •••PSV Go•••

Sony seriously need to think of making a Xperia vita, possibly phone of a size like the galaxy note and a snap on game pad adapter with all the slots and possible with extra juice dedicated for the phone itself, and from there you could then only enable vitas ui to play game. So people can choose to take along what they like. This is how I foreseen the future going to be
